Darke Hall Society is a not-for-profit, charitable organization that operates the recently renovated historic concert venue. Our programming includes presentations of contemporary and classical music, theatre, comedy, and dance. We are also a rental venue that gives priority to local artists and arts organizations as well as the U of R Conservatory of Performing Arts and the Department of Music.

We are seeking volunteers to join our team at Darke Hall for the upcoming season.  Volunteers at Darke Hall participate in Front of House duties including assisting patrons in finding their seats, distributing programs, and answering questions.  Volunteers are welcome to stay and watch the event they are volunteering at, at no cost.

If you are a proactive, customer-focused individual with a passion for the performing arts and a desire to contribute as a volunteer, we would love to hear from you.
