MLT Aikins & Lions Competitions

The Regina Music Festival presents the final two competitions of the festival, the MLT Aikins and Lions Competitions.
Musicians competing have been chosen by the Piano 1, Vocal 1, Strings, and Brass, Woodwinds & Percussion adjudicators. Each adjudicator chooses the 3 musicians they believe are the strongest in each discipline. The 12 musicians will each perform one of their Regina Music Festival selections. The adjudicators will award one first place winner and two runners up in each discipline.
Admission is FREE to both competitions!
MLT Aikins Competition - 1:30 pm
The musicians chosen for this competition are ages 15, 16 and 17. The Fleming Award winner will be chosen from this competition.
Regina Central Lions Competition - 7 pm
The musicians chosen for this competition are aged 18 and over. The William Cornish Grand Award winner will be chosen from this competition.
