Regina Musical Club presents Horizons Baroque in Earth Blooms: Baroque music for the Solstice. We celebrate the summer solstice with music from another age performed by Regina’s finest musicians. Christian Robinson – violin, Marie-Noelle Berthelet – flute, Valerie Hall – harpsichord, and Simon Fryer – cello, joyfully present the music of Corelli, Dall’Abaco, Schmeltzer, Rameau, Monteclair, and Handel.
Horizons Baroque is a group of Regina musicians who share their commitment to the vitality of early music. Presenting historically informed performances on ‘modern’ instruments, and using innovative concert formats, the artists explore the humanity of each individual composer bringing life to the glorious essence of the music from this extraordinary period.
Tickets are $40 for adults, $35 for seniors, and free for students (with Student ID). Prices are inclusive of fees and taxes. Seating is not assigned.
