Britten McGonigal Voice Recital
Presented by the University of Regina and MAP Music Department - Rental Event
Showtimes
- Monday, April 21 - 7:00pm
Britten McGonigal presents a program dedicated to the voices of women; to the composers, poets, and characters. The chosen works highlight the underrepresented artistry of woman composers, as well as songs and arias that give a voice to the complex female figures in music and literature.
Featuring pieces by composers such as Fanny Mendelssohn, Pauline Viardot, and Lori Laitman, this recital explores a wide range of emotional and musical range – from quiet introspection to bold defiance. You are invited to engage with the ways women have shaped classical music, both as creators and as subjects of compelling stories. Join us for an evening of dynamic and thoughtful performances!
Admission is FREE.
