Darke Hall Society Supports Theatre Day at Cathedral Village Arts Festival

Darke Hall Society is proud to support Theatre Day at the Cathedral Village Arts Festival—an initiative dedicated to creating space for local artists to share a story worth telling. As a presenter committed to bringing diverse voices to the stage, this partnership reflects Darke Hall’s ongoing investment in Regina’s theatre community.

Interest in this year’s Theatre Day exceeded expectations. Following the application deadline on May 18, organizers received 17 submissions representing more than seven hours of material. The program has been curated to eight productions, resulting in a dynamic 2.5-hour showcase of original work, works-in-progress, and bold new ideas.

Theatre Day offers an open platform for artists at all stages of development, highlighting the strength and creativity of Regina’s theatre scene. From emerging voices to experienced creators, the event celebrates risk-taking, collaboration, and storytelling that connects communities.

Darke Hall Society is honoured to support this initiative and to help create opportunities for artists to develop and share their work with local audiences.
